We loved our stay at Jan's. The place was amazing and we were kind of tucked away in our own little paradise. You are close enough to town, but far enough for privacy. Martin was great and answered all our questions promptly. We will definitely come back. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise.

Rum Point is the perfect chill vacation spot for the whole family with a beautiful well laid out house with tons of room, a great pool and access to the beach. Martin and the team at Rum Point and Turtle Inn are really great, knowledgeable and the perfect hosts. But the real hosts of this place are the dogs that live at Rum Point and make it feel like home. We all fell in love with the dogs. The activities we booked through Turtle Inn included incredible hikes, zip lines, rafting, horseback riding, Mayan ruins, great fishing and a wild cave / water adventure. We loved this beautiful, clean and relaxing place.

We are a family of 5 and recently stayed at La Vida Belize. The house was clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. The plunge pool, beach and dock were the perfect place to relax after a day of adventure. We enjoyed being in a quieter area and didn’t mind the distance from the main area of Placencia. We rented a car and explored several areas in Belize during our stay. We used the guestbook for tips about the area and places to eat near Maya Beach. The grounds keepers were friendly and kept everything nice for us during our stay. The host responded quickly to any questions we had. During our week stay, some of the activities we were able to do included: snorkling with Captain Jak’s, visit the Bocawina Nation Park & Zip-line Adventure, fishing, a Monkey River tour and visit some Mayan Ruins. We also spent a good amount of time relaxing and reading on the beach or by the pool. We recommend staying here.

A Perfect Getaway in Placencia! I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful Airbnb in Placencia, and I can't recommend it enough! The house is situated in a very peaceful and quiet neighborhood, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing vacation. Emily is a great host ! Her place is reasonable and in a friendly neighborhood ! I loved being immersed in the culture and everyone was so friendly ! Def rent golf carts for the trip and her recommendations for food / dining and adventure are spot on!

I stayed at this Airbnb before and let me tell you nothing change. It’s my home away from home very clean and well put together. Never disappoint it’s a beautiful home beautiful kitchen nice appliances, washer and dryer. You have your own parking space ,No need to park on the side of the street. Love love, love.

My husband and I spent a wonderful week here. The ocean views from every room are outstanding and the patio is a nice private area to enjoy the breezes. It is a great central jumping off point for inland adventures as well as days out at the reef. Hopkins is super welcoming, we walked to a different beach front restaurant every night.

Therese’s place is a perfect base to explore Placencia town and the peninsula. The apartment was clean, quiet and well equipped - with everything you need to make a few light meals. We enjoyed drinking our morning coffee on the balcony each day! Therese was kind and responsive during all communications throughout our stay and we definitely would recommend her place for your visit!

We have visited Placencia a few times and this was one of our favorites! Beautiful view of the ocean, right on the sidewalk, and easy to walk to all our favorite places. Thanks for hosting us!

Alan's Seahouse is across the street from his Hotel, on the lagoon side. The room has plenty of space. a nice little kitchen area (with working stove), ceiling fan and AC, and a large TV with time of channels and apps. Comfortable for a weeks stay, or longer - the building has 4 units, and some have been rented for months at a time. Very quiet inside. you can't hear your neighbors at all. The available kayaks and bicycles (free) is a really nice plus! Alan's is around most days. Great guy to chat with, and very agreeable to requests for help.

It’s a very comfortable little place to stay. Close to everything but far enough away from the centre of town that it is still quiet at night.

We had an amazing time in Placencia at The White Turtle! The location is absolutely perfect! The caretakers Reuben, Rufina and their son Gilbert made our trip so special! Rufina kept the house absolutely spotless and checked in with us to ensure we had everything we needed. Reuben set up our tours and we had the most amazing time snorkeling, fishing and visiting waterfalls. Reuben knows his stuff! I highly recommend staying here, you won’t be disappointed.

As a super host myself of 3 properties I can assure you this place is WONDERFUL! The location is absolutely perfect. You can step into the water right from your property. The porch was ideal as was the laid back tiki bar next door for a fun beverage while lounging. The AC’s in each bedroom were a great addition. We were a family of 5 with plenty of space. The property manager, Karissa is on site and was ready to serve with all our needs. To say she went above and beyond is an understatement. The grounds keeper AJ was so kind and helpful too. We honestly lacked for nothing. Some places we loved and recommend: Tate of Belize Garifuna cooking class Mammalicious is a couple minutes away and has fantastic and inexpensive food. More upscale was Dawns Galley - the shrimp curry was incredible! We loved walking to the pier at sunset De”tach has great breakfast We loved visiting the zoo on the way there and leaving we went to our next destination via Hummingbird Highway.

Don’t be scared off the apartments are above the grocery store. The rooms and shared areas are beautiful and extremely well maintained. The staff was super helpful and takes great care of the property. Everything is within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again!

Spacious villa in prime location! It was a delight to be on the top level unit right on the beach! Jo-Anne and Jenniffer were very helpful leading up to the stay. The management company team on the premises was extremely responsive— everyone was very gracious and accommodating. The whole unit was beautifully maintained and spotless.

Andrea was a great hostess. She was very attentive and helpful. It was very comfortable for two people, Super well appointed. The sunsets from the lanai were spectacular! Make sure you take advantage of Edward, the juice man, who delivers fresh local juices, and the fish vendor who comes by from time to time. There was great birding from the lanai! Having access a 10 minute walk away to a resort on the ocean side with the breeze, the palm trees, and a restaurant was fabulous. We were there during an unexpectedly wet “dry season“, which made the bugs problematic. The airport noise was a little more than we expected, but you get used to it pretty quickly, and there are no planes flying at night.

This condo was great! Management was very helpful with assisting us with planning activities and meals. Be aware that the location is a bit away from Placencia village and will require a golf cart or car. We were a bit nervous driving the golf cart after dark, so used a taxi service for dinners. Taxis are a bit expensive. Be aware that there are sandflies on the beach, particularly around sunset, they were a minor annoyance, but be sure to have bug repellant on, when walking the beach, this is an issue all across Belize. This was our homebase for activities in the area, which included a visit to Cockscomb, Ranguana Caye and fishing. (They picked us up and delivered us with a pile of fish at the Cocoplum dock). We enjoyed meals, lounging and drinks on the beach right next door at the Naia resort. I am a photographer and enjoyed the cool mornings on the patio taking photos of beautiful birds right from the patio. Overall it was a great experience and we will be back.

It is a lovely piece of property. We enjoyed the use of the bikes and went into town each day. I he local people are lovely - very warm and welcoming! Big Dock Ceviche Bar is a must!!

we rented this place with our friends on kids. this was a perfect location. the private pool, and the beach was amazing. check in was very simple and helpful. I will definitely come back to this place again.
