We had an amazing stay at Big Bear Lake Home with Brett as the host. He was very proactive with checking in to make sure we had no issues and was also very quick to respond to any questions we had that came up throughout our stay. The amenities were more than enough for 13 adults (6 couples, 1 single) to have their own private space and a large gathering space for everyone to congregate and be together. I highly recommend this location for larger groups.

Very cozy cabin! The neighborhood felt very safe and clean. Even though there were neighbors nearby, the place felt very secluded and like you were in the middle of the woods! Beautiful location, lots to do nearby, but also enough to do at/around the cabin itself! Definitely would stay here again!

This home was a great getaway for my family. The dock/bonfire area are perfect for hanging out and also for great for fishing. The home is perfect for a getaway. Laura was an amazing host and very helpful.

Amazing house for a large group! We had 14 people staying here plus two dogs and it worked really well. The back yard is peaceful and beautiful, and a portion is fenced for the dogs which they enjoyed! The large porch out back was fun for grilling one of our nights. Kitchen is a little small but very well appointed with pots/pans etc, we had no issues cooking all our meals for the weekend here. Plenty of parking either at the property or across the street, we had 8 cars and no issues. An easy walk into town from here for shopping and hitting up the local brewery which had an amazing patio! Overall we would stay again and recommend it for a large group of adults traveling together. Especially for the size of the place for the price, this will certainly beat a hotel experience.

Amy’s place was fantastic! And Amy herself is a great host! She is a great communicator, always responsive and had the best recommendations. Even though I was only there for two days it felt very much like home. The space was charming, clean and cozy. BUT the probably my most favorite part was the view of the beautiful Mississippi River. To have such a majestic river is one of the many high points of Amy’s house. A perfect place to have a morning coffee! So if you like serenity, a clean and inviting space and the beautiful Mississippi river in your backyard than this place is the place for you! Thank you so much, Amy for your hospitality!

Wonderful place by the water. Just as described and as shown in the pictures. Plenty of seating inside for games. Front yard is very large with plenty of room for games. Fire pit next to the lake is perfect! Within walking distance to the bar which has nice staff, good food, and bar activities (meat raffle).

We loved our stay! Our little autumn weekend on Lake Augusta was quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. The cabin was adorable and has everything we needed. The only thing that future travelers should know is that it only locks from the inside with a hook & eye lock, which was not terribly secure but felt safe enough given the location, and that the curtains within the cabin do not provide very much privacy from the guests in other cabins. Otherwise, we would highly recommend. Especially loved that our dogs were able to come with us.

This was my second time staying here. The home is nice and peaceful. David is great to work with. I’ll definitely be staying again.

Absolutely lovely place to stay. My dog had the whole back yard to himself and he loved it. The views were picturesque. After traveling for days it was also nice to be able to use the washer and dryer. They also do a nice job of having amenities like shampoo & such.
