For Nov - Mar we recommend guests inquire before booking about weather and driveway condition (4WD or AWD are often recommended). Private getaway in the mountains of SW PA. 5 min from Ohiopyle and Fallingwater. Small home with a spacious deck and large open doors that make the indoor and outdoor space a single living area. Located in the heart of the Laurel Highlands. For those bringing pets, keep in mind there are some dogs that run in the neighborhood and also plenty of other wildlife.

No noisy neighbors or other cabins rentals on the same property. Plenty of space to store bikes, kayaks, or gear. The outpost sports a generous grilling area, picnic tables, and only a two-minute walk to Sugar Run Falls Trail and close to Jonathon Run Trail and River "take-out"/Great Alleghany Trail.

The Yurt, situated at Rafferty Manor, built in 1918, located in Ohiopyle State Park, on the Youghiogheny, the rustic yurt was built circa 1920. It is in the perfect location for the outdoor enthusiast and architectual aficionados, between two Frank Lloyd Wright homes; Fallingwater (2.7 miles) and Kentuck Knob (1.7 miles). Managed by an artist, you will find all the amenities one would need to have a break from the outside world.
