Access the vast majority of our historic Stowe area land -- from our apple orchards to our extensive walking paths in fields and woodland. We hope that you can experience such fun and quiet time in our cozy, western-style bunk room. Located only a 10 minute drive from downtown Stowe.

We provide our guests with space and privacy but we are local and are available. We do not provide concierge services. Badger Cottage offers a true rustic Vermont experience nestled in the woods with spectacular views and a quiet and peaceful ambiance. Once a barn, carefully reconstructed on the owners’ property, and modernized to today’s standards, this post and beam cabin is warm and cosy in winter and cool in summer. Well behaved dogs are very welcome and will enjoy the walks in the woods. Covid vaccinations are required. The owners live in an adjacent house with their very friendly Border Terrier

Mountain and Fat bike rentals are available next door at Ranch Camp with the legendary Cady Hill trailhead less than 100 yards away! Grill dinner and relax outside on the beautiful stone patio (space heaters can cut the chill on colder evenings).

Unit has fully stocked kitchen, huge bathroom w. laundry and expansive views of Mount Mansfield. Also enjoy the salt water hot tub year round. A 5-minute drive to the middle of Stowe Village and a 15 minute drive to Stowe Mountain and Resort from there.

The Space This exquisite one-bedroom cottage is located on the grounds of a 200 acre estate in the center of Stowe. The cottage is at the far end of a quiet, peaceful meadow and looks out onto a spring-fed pond with views of Mt. Mansfield. There are countless walking/running/biking/XC trails both on and adjacent to the property. The trails on the property connect to the very popular Cady Hill mountain bike network.
