Had a beautiful stay in this very charming cozy cottage! Great central location with a beautiful view of the mountains from the backyard. Absolutely loved sitting by the fire and looking through the old photo album!

As we arrived Doc was there to welcome us and did just make a fire for us. He showd us his beautiful house and suggested a few things we could do in the area. We felt right at home. The house was very clean and tidy and the kitchen was fully stocked and you habe everything you need. The kitchen is really beautiful and I had a lot of fun cooking in it. We were fortunate and had the house all to ourselves. We slept really well and it was the perfect place to spent the last days of our travels. Doc has a shop under the Empire Hotel which is defiantly worth a visit, because you can find local arts, jewelry, knives, souvenirs and Docs Photos. If you‘re in Queenstown, choose this accomidation.

Everything you need within a whole house, surrounding by stunning mountains. Pete was incredibly helpful, finding opening times for local businesses for us as Good Friday changed their hours of operation. There were also groceries left in the kitchen for us to use, and a very cosy grate to warm up the living rooms.

A very clean, comfortable and spacious home. Very comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen and bathroom. All in one of the most beautiful places on earth. I would highly recommend this property. Thanks Kirsty for a wonderful stay. I wish I could have stayed longer!!

We had a very special stay at Stormsend - thank you Craig and Elizabeth for sharing your home with us! The beds were super comfy and the kitchen had everything you needed. The bread and snacks Elizabeth and Craig left were also such a nice touch. Note at the time of our stay there was no wifi and only those of us on Telstra got any reception. Not an issue for our group as we were happy to be offline. We will definitely stay again, the sunsets were magnificent 👌🏽

We really enjoyed our 3 nights stay at 'The Shack'. Photos are true to reality. Kitchen is very well stocked which was great! Beds super comfortable and the whole quirky vibe was alive and well. 45 minutes to Strahan 10 minute relaxed walk to town two IGA's with friendly staff. Would we stay again? absolutely! We had a great time! thanks Tim!
