We stayed at Magnus' place for a week. The house was clean, spacious and made us feel like home the whole time. Anna and Magnus are really great hosts as they were friendly, respectful, thoughtful and easy to contact. They did everything to make us feel comfortable and welcome during our stay. We were lucky enough to get an insight to their everyday life too. They are lovely hosts and we simply can't recommend them enough!

Beautiful place, incredible view and peaceful/private. Really conveniently located to Torshavn for groceries and easy to get to all the other islands by car from there. Nice decor, well stocked kitchen for cooking, cozy — and the hot tub was amazing! Host was responsive and friendly. The perfect find!

Paulina’s place was the perfect way to end my first trip to the Faroe Islands. The views are spectacular especially during sunrise which I was lucky to witness. The space is very clean and has all the amenities you need to make a simple breakfast. She had an info book with great local recommendations. It’s helpful to allow extra time in the morning as the bathroom is shared with 3 rooms so you may have to wait a few mins for your turn. Everyone was very respectful and quiet. It was a very peaceful stay. Added bonus is there is a spa and jacuzzi on site to reserve for an additional fee. It’s well worth it as it’s outside with amazing views! The location is also convenient for accessing the eastern islands. I did Kalsoy and Vidoy and was so happy to have such a short drive back at the end of the night. Thank you for a memorable and lovely stay!!

I was honored to be Kristgunn's first Airbnb guest. Her home was spotlessly clean, well-decorated, and perfectly situated in Vestmanna. I appreciated the historical details about the origins of the building as well. The house is within walking distance of the marina and tourist center, where the birdwatching boat tours start. The main reason I chose Kristgunn's place is because I was in search of a peaceful retreat to wrap up my visit to the Faroe Islands. She has a hot tub that was available for my use. It was a real pleasure to sit in the spa and just relax. I will say that the beach is not large, more a patch of sand so I wouldn't expect a leisurely stroll, but you can access it via stairs from the house and have great views of the marina and boats passing by. I'd recommend Kristgunn's place if you're wanting to experience village life in the Faroes and have an interest in the boat tour.

We had a great time at Anna's place. Spacious, with all the amenities and more, gorgeous views of Tórshavn and great location. We had an easy and enjoyable stay and Anna made it much better with plenty of tips, advice and all the help a guest might need. Very recommended for families.

Amazing place to relax, unplug and stare at the views all day. We came on a father-daughter trip to just relax, slow down and read. The wide open views across the water were amazing. Even on stormy days it offered a chance to see changing views of rain, fog, snow and sunshine. And no matter the weather, sitting in the hot tub offered a chance to watch the view from outside. The walk through the small village and its adjacent pastures was a welcome surprise. And the small forest felt big when we were inside, with a nice giant boulder with a bench that provided shelter when it started raining. Close enough to grocery stores and a few restaurants to make it practical. But just enough off the grid to make it feel remote. With some nice scenic drives nearby as well. Highly recommend for a nice quiet place to slow down and relax.
