You will be blocks from the south gates of LSU, a 5 minute walk to the LSU lakes (with its 4 mile walking loop), a 12-15 minute walk to Tiger Stadium and nearby to lots of great restaurants and campus night life. Our safe and quiet apartment is a great place for visiting students and parents, as well as business travelers and BR visitors.

The Colonel’s Inn

Built in 1929, this old cozy country home was built with a country store. In the 50’s they were joined. A big room was added to the store portion, and is now a very unique meeting hall that features live music on occasion. Not part of the inn rental, but this space can be rented as well. (Pricing varies for these spaces) Gorgeous back porch with lots of plants. 60 miles to New Orleans, 15 miles to Baton Rouge. 2 miles to 1-10. Walmart 5 miles. Convenience store 500 feet.

Our quaint yellow cottage sits on a quiet street where you have plenty of space to hear the cicadas and breathe in the Louisiana air. We're situated directly on the Amite River and this cottage is perfect for anyone who loves to fish! We provide a place to dock your boat, and can even recommend the best routes along the river that we often take ourselves. Please note that we do not allow pets at the cottage so get your fur babies a sitter and come on down.

The Blue Heron Guest House-6 acres on the bayou.

Take it easy at this unique getaway. Located on Bayou Manchac on a gated 6 acre estate. The Blue Heron Guest House is a great place to just get away, enjoy nature, canoe (provided), fish the pond or the bayou, birdwatching (lots of birds), etc. The property does have a boat slip and a small boat launch for those who want to explore the area by boat.
