Munish’s place made me feel at home instantly. He’s the sweetest, always up for conversation and helpful beyond words! I went alone, I didn’t know anything about the locality, he’s been mighty kind in telling me about things to do nearby. He’s helped my long distance friends plan my birthday. He’s super respectful about your privacy as well. He arranged for my airport pickup and drop.. All in all, I had a perfect trip, without any hiccups, thanks to Munish. Definitely going back.

Recently, my daughter and I enjoyed a wonderful summer break at a cottage, creating unforgettable memories. It was a perfect getaway, offering safety, outdoor adventures, and refreshing clean air. Surprisingly, my usually attached child found joy in exploring the surroundings independently. With bunnies, a friendly German shepherd, a tire swing under the guava tree, and nature walks, she was fully engaged, never uttering the phrase "I'm bored." Additionally, there were books and board games for indoor relaxation during hot weather. My daughter is already planning a longer stay next summer. The cottage, with its spacious layout featuring bedrooms both upstairs and downstairs and a well-equipped kitchen, (but you could also get a meal for a reasonable cost if you didn’t want to cook)provided the benefits of a hotel with complete privacy. I'm grateful to our host, Radha, for offering such a beautiful, nature-immersive experience that allowed me to unwind, have fun and destress.

The stay was excellent and the food they shared with us was wonderful and homely. Immaculately kept house. The only thing to note would be that the path to reach the gate is steep and narrow, almost too small for our SUV. Do keep that in mind.

This is not actually an Airbnb, it is a room in the Chokling Arthouse, which is the hotel next to Chokling Monastery. I never did meet Kartik, and when I asked about him, everyone at the guesthouse stared blankly, as if they'd never heard of him. But the hotel is lovely, as is the management, and the room is very spacious and comfortable with spectacular views. I loved my stay here. That said, it is definitely not big enough for three people. This is a suite for two people, even though the hotel will offer you an extra cot at a fee. There is really no where to put it, though, unless one person slept in the sitting area. There is also no kitchen, just a microwave and a few bowls, spoons, etc. There is AC, hot water, and a lovely sitting area. The hotel restaurant has extremely slow service and not many options, but the waiters are extremely friendly. This room opens onto a large public terrace area, which be noisy at night with people doing fire spinning, etc.

We recently stayed here as a group of two families and had a fantastic time together. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the location — it’s secluded, offering uninterrupted scenic views and a peaceful, calming atmosphere. The food at the property stood out for us. Every meal was fresh, hot, and felt just like home-cooked meals. You could tell it was prepared with love, which made dining a memorable part of our stay. Our hosts, Sama Homestays, were exceptional. From the moment we booked, they were very responsive, providing clear and helpful instructions. Throughout our stay, they were always available to assist with any questions or requests, making us feel well taken care of. Overall, we had a wonderful and relaxing experience. This place is perfect for anyone looking to escape the usual routine and enjoy some quality time with loved ones. We will definitely recommend this property to our friends and can’t wait to return soon!
