The master has a generous King size bed and the second bed, a single day Bed with a pull out trundle under. The bathroom has a roll top bath with shower and unlimited hot water. The crowning glory, Walnut occupies the top floor of the converted barn. Sunlight floods into the vast living area through an entire gable of elegant oak windows overlooking the courtyard. Competing for attention is the massive stone fireplace with its chimney breast towering up to the pitched ceiling of the sleeping gallery above, reached via a solid elm staircase landing in front of a magnificent stone arched window giving glorious views down to the fish pond and across the picturesque valley.

Field End Contemporary rural barn

A small barn built with friends during a barn raising. Simple, stylish, with underfloor heating, compact but with a sense of space. Deck with hammock and barbcue extends into fields at the back. Private, lovely spacious comfortable beds , rustic but with a touch of luxury. Thirty minutes to Oxford, two minutes drive to village of Great Tew and Soho . One of three properties on site ( we live in one) the other is called The Artists House and if booked together can sleep 12 guests in total.

Happy Valley Pod is a Luxury Glamping Pod on our smallholding here in The Cotswolds. Ideal for a romantic break away, there is a wood burning hot tub where you can enjoy and take in our amazing views across Happy Valley. We are based on the outskirts of Little Tew just 2 miles away from Soho Farmhouse. Also, Diddly Squat farm is 11 minutes away, The Farmers Dog is 29 minutes away. All popular with guests. We don’t accept dogs here as the Happy Valley Pod is on a working farm with livestock.

They are hidden away in woodland in the grounds of the Kirtlington Park Polo Club, next to a Capability Brown-designed lake.
