The Hillside Retreat in Tambourine Mountain is the ideal getaway with breathtaking views of the Gold Coast and the hinterland, with an outdoor swimming pool, a heated spa, garden and bbq facilities. Enjoy the calm and tranquillity of the mountain with trails to hike, while being a few minutes' drive from the distilleries, wineries, Gallery Walk, Skywalk, National Park, Botanic Garden, fine eateries and a golf course. This cottage is fully self contained and has fresh water swimming holes on the property just a few steps from your door. The river runs through the property and there's plenty of grassy spots to lay around and picnic all day long. This charming cottage has a small kitchen, a living area, verandah, a separate bedroom and a bathroom with its own spa bath. Perfect for a relaxing getaway in picturesque Currumbin Valley. The place is drug and alcohol free, and vegetarian food only.

The property is approximately 1.25hrs drive from Brisbane CBD (1.5hrs from Brisbane airport) and just under 1 hr from the Gold Coast airport. Gold Coast beaches approx. 40mins from the house.

Carefully restored, the two bedroom cottage is your home away from home, surrounded by towering silky oak trees and native woods. Enjoy & treat yourself with a couples or family retreat, prepare for a wedding or hike in the rainforest.

The Mouses House Retreat is a hidden gem in a truly enchanted rainforest. Within an hour of arriving you will feel any stress disappear, replaced with peace, tranquility & being at one with nature. Your accommodation consists of one of three (3) private Rainforest Spa chalets : Sneezy, Dopey or Happy chalets. Ask about our Luxury level chalets with extra outside private Hot Tub. One of 2 exceptional holiday houses in Lamington National Park. 3 decks overlook Numinbah Valley. Sleeps up to 4 in two bedrooms each with en suite. Groups of more than 4 can hire the adjacent Coomera West House. Bookings are accepted for children 4 years and older. The house and grounds are not suitable for children under 4, toddlers and babies.
