Ein kleines Paradies am Meer - Die perfekte Unterkunft zum Entspannen! Direkt vor der Tür liegen zwei Strände, die meist menschenleer sind, und bei Sonnenaufgang kann man am Hiru Beach die Fischer beobachten. Die Strände sind ideal zum Schwimmen. Frühstück und Abendessen in der Hiru Villa sind sehr empfehlenswert und frisch zubereitet. Alle zwei Tage wird das Zimmer frisch gereinigt und mit neuen Handtüchern und Strandlaken ausgestattet. Tangalle und Hiriketiya sind sehr gut mit Bus oder TukTuk zu erreichen. Sehr empfehlenswert für alle, die am Strand herunterkommen möchten.

Das tiny house ist super. Wir schätzten es sehr das wir eine kleine küche hatten um frühstück oder abendessen zu machen. Ausserdem ist man nahe genug am strand und kann ohne probleme laufen. Wir würden sofort wiederkommen.

we were warmly welcomed in the beautiful house by ishara, dimidu, their two cute sons and the grandparents. we felt at home instantly. the house is 1 min walk from the wonderfull beach with a really nice surf point. they have a beautiful garden with a multitude of plants and flowers which are frequented by many different birds singing sweet songs every morning :) the rooms are simple and clean equipped with everything we needed. the host cooks very nice sri lankan breakfast and there are many options to go out for dinner in walking distance. if you like sri lankan food we warmly recommend taking a cooking class with ishara. she went to the market in matara with us where we bought the ingredients. after she thaught us to cook delicious roti, different tasty curries and our favourite coconut sambol (which wasn't as complicated as expected :), we can't wait to try cooking the dishes at home! we really enjoyed our stay and can recommend it to anyone. if we come back to madhia we know where to stay :) thank you and hope to see you again!

I had planned to keep on going and stay at other places but Dilip and his family treated me so well so I stayed there my whole holiday instead. The room I had is simple standard but very much value for money and they clean it for you at regular basis and keep it very nice. If you have problems with anything for example if something needs to be fixed or if you have special wishes, they are always eager to help and take care of everything. The room is on top of their house and faces the Sri Lankan coastguards base so you cant expect it to be 100% silent as they are building things and work in shifts. I can be sensitive to noise but i had no problem with that and it actually just made me feel safe as I was traveling by my self. If you are super sensitive to sounds you can choose the deluxe rooms instead, they are silent and have balcony's that faces the front side of the house/quiet road. One really great thing is also that the family provided with taxi service to and from the airport in cars that felt very safe, that made things much easier for me and the prize was better than other places. This room is very good value for money but you also get what you pay for so if you expect really high standard I recommend you to pay a little more and choose the deluxe rooms. There's so much love in this place!

Posto bellissimo a 2 passi da un mare incantevole! Il personale eccellente ci ha aiutato in tutto ! Purtroppo abbiamo avuto un piccolo problema prima di arrivare da loro e loro ci hanno aiutato assistito e protetto . Lo consiglio a tutti!!!!!!!!!!!! Ci hanno aiutato anche ad andare a vedere le tartarughe la sera! Grazie per tutto grazie per l’ospitalità e la simpatia!!!

Super Unterkunft. Fußläufig sind schöne Strände, kleine Cafés und ein Yoga Studio zu erreichen. Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön und der zusätzliche Trinkwasserhahn sehr praktisch. Es ist ein bisschen abgeschiedener, als Alleinreisende Frau hab ich mich trotzdem wohl und sicher gefühlt. Wirklich ein traumhafter Ort und die Unterkunft ist super klimatisiert. Vishu konnte bei allen Belangen kontaktiert werden und hat mich auch mit ihrem Tuk Tuk bei weiteren Strecken begleitet. Super schöner Aufenthalt!

We had a very nice stay there, very friendly employees and even had a lot of food and cocktails - totally recommend!

Everything was fine. Thusath was really friendly and helped us with whatever we needed. The whole team was really nice and friendly - always smiling. The room was very clean when we arrived and also everything fine. Thanks a lot for everything. We can recommend.

A nice and tidy accomodation close to a surfspot. Lasantha is a supernice host who is around most of the time and helps out with hints and things needed. As a surfguy he has lots of knowledge to share about the area. We loved it there and met also nice people in the same place and garden. :)

It's our second time staying - hope that already shows how much we love it here! Pat, Nethmini and the team are brilliant - they looked after us so well and are incredibly kind. The space is very private and serene which we loved, the whole place has been designed with passion and mindfulness - a true home away from home with peaceful surroundings. Hiri has a very special place in our hearts and so does the yard, we look forward to coming back again next year.
