Jest również doskonałą bazą wypadową do spacerów, górskich wędrówek czy wycieczek rowerowych wzdłuż brzegów jeziora. Domek znajduje się w Stryszowie, blisko Krakowa (1h), Wadowic (15min), Oświęcimia (45min) oraz Zakopanego (1h30min).

A cottage right by the Orava dam with a unique sauna is part of Slovak cultural heritage and thus protected. Fishing, swimming, boating, horse riding, hiking or just relaxing under the trees with the view of "Birds island" with more than 2000 birds or "Slanica island" with a gallery on it. Two apartments, a modern bathroom, and a big living room with a fully equipped kitchen. The house is 150+years old - it is cozy, freshly reconstructed, and well-maintained & equipped. No TV, fast internet.
