What a beautiful spot! Great view from deck, kitchen and hot tub of the volcano and loved having a few different spots to relax depending on time of day. Good distance to the volcano for hiking but also the amenities of the house were great, as well as neighbouring highland cows!

10/10 - loved our stay, spectacular place, situated in a rural setting, the expansive views over the river and valley and hills in the distance was eipc. Quality fit-out with lots of attention to detail - thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Utterly beautiful stay at Corrie’s place. The space is stunning and really thoughtfully put together. Outdoor bath is the icing on the cake! Couldn’t recommend it enough - you won’t be disappointed!

Great stay and not too far from mangawhai. The spa is a nice touch and the interior has that classic nz-bach aesthetic whilst still feeling modern. The kitchen is well-stocked for utensils and would comfortably fit four guests. There is a private dining cabin for up to 12 people on site that should be available soon. It will have an in house chef and would be a unique experience for those wanting to host a special dinner

We had a lovely time at the log cabin. It was very peaceful and we saw lots of native trees and wildlife including glow worms and crayfish. There was an excellent collection of games and books which kept us entertained. Kent and Nicola were very friendly and were committed to making sure we had a great stay.

We really enjoyed staying here. Check in was easy and flexible, the BnB was beautiful, clean, and very cozy. Denver and Diane are great hosts with prompt and clear communication. We stayed during a cyclone, to which we were very kindly offered an extended stay for no cost. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

What an amazing piece of paradise! Modern and immaculate with everything you need for a private, peaceful and relaxing break. We will be back for sure and can’t recommend Hereford Cottage highly enough.

Beautiful place to get away from the busy city! Rest easy on the comfiest bed, soft pillows with the sun rising over the water. Highly recommend and would definitely book again!

Was easy to book, great specific check in details. David had it all ready to walk straight in even though I only booked 20mins beforehand. Super friendly, and loved that it was dog friendly.

Absolutely breathtaking views sound this gorgeous cabin! It was cozy & comfortable. A highlight was taking the free kayaks for a paddle for more beautiful scenery on the water. Plus a bonus to be greeted by friendly goats on our way through the paddock down to the river. We found the shower tricky to maintain at a comfortable temperature, but that’s not uncommon when living off the grid. We’d absolutely recommend for a special experience!

Our fifth time here and we will keep coming back. The mountain view is outstanding and we love the peace and tranquility of the Eco Bach. The property is beautiful and the walk ways give you great access. It is our home away from home. We love that our hosts are continually improving the property, act on feedback and are always available when needed.

Wir haben vier Nächte in Belindas Cottage verbracht. Die Unterkunft liegt idyllisch, umgeben von wunderschöner Natur. Sie ist gemütlich eingerichtet und bietet alles, was man für einen erholsamen Aufenthalt benötigt. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse ist unglaublich schön. Ein Ort, um zu entspannen und sich wohl zu fühlen. Belinda ist eine warmherzige, offene Gastgeberin. Sie hat uns herzlich empfangen und stand jederzeit bei Fragen und Anliegen zur Verfügung. Außerdem hat sie uns hilfreiche Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben. Wir empfehlen Belindas Cottage auf jeden Fall weiter!

Very simplistic and comfortable space, convenient location and a communicative host. Don’t need much more than that when one is traveling to a busy city like Rotorua. The space was clean and well organized, had all necessary furniture without any clutter, lots of natural light too; bathroom seems small but is comfortable for one person at a time; bed appeared a little “springy” and didn’t provide a lot of support but didn’t feel uncomfortable and we slept soundly. Location is close to the city centre by driving and so, to many attractions/restaurants; don’t know about walkability. The hosts were very kind, friendly and gave great local recommendations regarding places to visit. All in all, great value for the location and price.

Our second trip back! Just the most relaxing place to be, with fantastic sea views. Andrew is a very polite and helpful host. The place has everything you need. Oven, cooktop, grilled plus Weber bbq accompanied by a fully equipped kitchen, modern bathroom and lovely comfy bed. The covered deck is the spot to be! So very relaxing. See you on Trip 3! We loved our stay, beautiful surroundings and nice to get to explore them with the kayaks and paddle boards available. Belinda and her husband were above and beyond hosts, will definitely be back!

Every piece tells a story and adds to the authentic charm of the space. We’re so grateful for the opportunity to stay here. It was more than just a place to rest—it was a place to reset. Can't rate my stay highly enough. The place was spotless, peaceful and Whangapoua Beach was beautiful. Michelle was so accommodating even assisting us with some oil and teabags when we forgot to bring our own (kitchen includes pots, pans, a burner etc but the rest is BYO). Super friendly and helpful hosts. I hope to be back again someday.

We had a wonderful stay at Tonia’s cabin! It was so relaxing, we even heard some kiwi. I would definitely recommend staying here if you need a good place to relax. We ate slow cooked stew and stayed cozy & warm inside while it is stormy out. Such a great stay. Thankyou Tonia 😁

This is such a great find and well worth the money. A little slice of heaven that is still close to lots of other areas, wish we could have stayed longer. Jude was very welcoming and we appreciated them letting us stay at the creekside cabin when it is normally only for one person.

Our hosts were incredibly friendly and gave lots of travel tips. The tiny home itself was cute and clean with the most amazing views. So much so, it was the perfect place to get engaged!
