Bill's place is absolutely amazing! We get access to a good hiking trail, the lake that we have plenty activities to do! The description is accurate; Bill and Lisa are super responsive to our messages. Overall it is such an amazing experience and highly recommend Bill's place! :)

Easy key pick up through lock box. Place as advertised. Clean and peaceful. Right on the lake. Beautiful views all around. Cottage has plenty of space for large group. Four of us stayed and we would definitely come back again.

not a single issue, host was available for questions, great space , great value and beautiful redone firepit with firewood. lots of chipmunks and ducks. the master bedroom felt like sleeping next to the water with amazing glider rocker Adirondack chairs right out the patio doors for morning coffee.

Great place to chill out for a few days. The cottage and surroundings were quiet and beautiful. As for the hosts, Tina was really nice and easy to communicate with and her recommandations made everything easy. I highly recommend her and her husband’s cottage!

I would come back here with friends and family for a getaway or special celebration any day! They know what you want to have fun and relax, and the set up makes it easy to slip right into vaycay mode - with a view to boot! But that sandy walk out to the river with the bright view from inside - beautiful. Thank you!

Reggie’s place was perfect for our needs - two couples. We each had our own “quarters” with our own bedrooms and bathrooms on each floor. A lot of amazing workmanship has gone into Reggie’s place. It is beautiful and decorated so tastefully. The guys went ice fishing and only had to walk a few feet to do so. I would highly recommend the Wagon Wheel restaurant which uses local beef and fish and the staff and patrons there were so friendly. Whenever we reached out to Reggie with questions, he responded quickly. We’re already looking to book next year and for an extra night. It was a perfect staycation for us!

Bowhey’s is such a special place. All the amenities, clean cabins, staff is always busy working on something to make it even more beautiful. Ian is so great and laid back. Saturday night karaoke should not be missed! We will definitely be back.

Ian is a great host very friendly and professional. Amenities are well kept from the swimming pool to the fish cleaning hut, you can buy even premium gas for your boat and enjoy a Saturday evening karaoke. Definitely we will come back again.

My first time experiencing cottage life. Ian and his family are good hosts. My children loved Ian. This resort felt very safe. The people that were there were very kind and friendly. it was not overwhelming, it was just right. You do have to bring your own pillows and linen. My suggestion, bring a fan. keep you cool at night. There is hot water. Karaoke night was a lot of fun. no judgement. Ian has a big variety of music. If you are coming from the GTA, you are looking at about 5 to 6 hours of travel time depending on traffic. We didn't get to do the trails because our kids wanted to swim in the pool all day. However, there are trails around the area. Canoeing was a lot of fun and the paddle boards were a challenge but a lot of fun too. There is fire wood present for you to use if you want to make a bonfire. There is a convenience store down the street. They sell essential groceries, beer, liquor, first aid and hot food. Some of his cabins have a really good view of the lake.

My family and I had a nice cozy experience staying on Ian's yacht. We relished the lake views, the dock, the stars, and the sunset, as well as the opportunity to cast our fishing line directly off the bow.

My 5-year-old daughter and I were on a road trip and we booked this very last minute. it was definitely the highlight of the trip and wish we would have stayed a couple of extra days. the water was beautiful in the evening with the sunset.

Ian's place is as described. His boat is clean, and the resort is well organized. He is one of the few hosts that is actually on-site, to help with anything needed; he is also very accommodating and easy-going. I didn't think there was actually going to be a karaoke night, as it had been described in the other reviews, but there was one. The whole area is conducive to a relaxed state of mind. my son and I enjoyed staying here and will very likely come back for some good fishing. Yes, we caught fish too, which was a plus.

Carole's waterfront Bunkie was beautiful and exactly how described. They were very responsive and helped us with anything we needed. We would definitely return again!

The Lakehouse was amazing me and my colleagues really enjoyed the house and especially the lake …omg just wow … really planning to come here with family. Best place to come and chill after work … This place took our whole tension out

We stayed at Bob's riverfront place during a family location wedding taking place 20 minutes away; close enough to travel back and forth, but just far enough to have the separation. Bob's AirBnB's a great place to stay; a stunning sandy beach, complete with firepit and deck furniture; the inside was large, bright, clean and very well laid out. The bathrooms were large, with the main having both a shower and a large Jacuzzi tub. A large laundry room, pantry, TV area, dining area and living room with fireplace and windows looking out onto the beach and Ottawa River were spectacular. The kitchen had every amenity you could desire, including an air fryer! An outdoor screened-in cubby had a kayak and other items to have fun on the beach and river. If you want a place to relax and have everything you may need, or a place to enjoy the beach and water activities, this is an ideal place. The town of Deep River is a short drive with shopping conveniences. Bob responds quickly to all queries!
