Melanie’s cabin was tucked away behind the main shopping strip in Cowes, only a few steps from the Red Jet ferry terminal. We had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay, we were only sorry it was the wrong time of year to enjoy the sun deck.

Just had a fantastic stay here - it's a beautifully presented shepherd's hut surrounded by rolling green. Host communication was great, and we found the hut to have everything we needed. The bed is comfy, the shower is great, and there is a functional kitchen. There are a couple of bbqs and a swim spa (a very large hot tub), making it easy to relax if you don't fancy going out. If you do want to go out, you can walk to local pubs or to Heale Gardens, which is lovely. I imagine most would come here by car but it is possible to train into Salisbury and get a taxi, as we did. All in all, we couldn't recommend this place enough - it's fantastic and I think we'll try and make it a yearly occurrence.

We had a lovely stay at Ambers cabin. The cabin was just as described on web site. Everything you need is available utensils,towels etc. Amber was welcoming and friendly.

Thank you for our stay 17-21 April 2025! We found our time enjoyable, space was clean and tidy, easy to find with clear instructions on what to do, the host messaged us details about check in etc and sent us a message on the day when caravan was ready, as it was ready earlier than the check in time so they sent us a message to let us know! Caravan had everything we needed to make the stay comfortable. Clean and tidy, with the added bonus of milk/biscuits/tea/coffee/sugar and toilet roll on arrival which is always a nice touch after a journey! we forgot to pack toys for our little one but was great to find a box of big lego and board games/cards available for us to use which went down well in the evenings, so this was great! Lots of places to visit locally all within a short drive - Blue Pool is a must as well as Corfe Castle and the steam train ride! This is our 2nd time staying on the Rockley Park site (stayed a few years ago) 1st time in this caravan but would highly recommend!

I don't know where to start! The location was superb; it was right by the sea, in a tranquil place with breathtaking views. Fiona was incredible! Liked us up, dropped us off at the bus station, and even gave me a lift to the nearest town while I was late for dinner. She baked fresh homemade cheese scones, filling our hearts with love. It felt like Fiona, more than a host; she felt like a friend who was genuinely happy to see us. The care, the enthusiasm, and the hospitality were unmatched! I try to visit the Isle of Wight at least once a year, and now I've discovered my perfect place to stay! I genuinely recommend this place. It's a perfect place for a couple or two friends.

We had a wonderful stay for the Bank holiday weekend at this beautiful cabin. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept so soundly. It was so wonderful to wake up in the morning and open all the windows, so we could sit in bed and take in the beautiful views. David and Jill were so friendly and hospitable — we will definitely be back!

Extremely happy with everything at this place. Kids loved the toys and enjoyed the garden. They wished they had stayed a little longer. We appreciate that there were options of breakfast included, never got that before in any other place, very kind gesture. Very cosy and spacious. Would highly recommend *****

A perfect stop as we cycled King Alfred’s Way. We enjoyed tea and brownies, a lovely shower, a delicious home cooked meal in the summerhouse, a peaceful sleep and a great breakfast. Sarah and Frank welcomed us to both the shepherd’s hut and their village community. We were only sorry to leave so soon.

This was the second time we stayed at the glorious little Acorn Hut. Again we were very warmly welcomed by the family and we had a perfect stay! We will go back again!

Had the most amazing weekend, cabin was delightful and very cosy, Hot Tub was great. Great walks as practically on top of the Ridgeway. Richard was a great host, I would highly recommend to stay, great getaway for piece, relaxation, with great walks & beautiful scenery. Thanks Rich for a great stay 🙂

Emily's place is well equipped, well positioned and nicely decorated. The bedroom is light and airy. We very much appreciated the prosecco and milk left for us in the fridge. It was a shame we only had time to stay one night - it's a great spot!

Firstly, we will definatley be back in the future! We decided to stay due to its proximity to Longleat but also the coast. The pod did not disapoint, it was very clean and had everything we needed. The weather was lovely which meant the far reaching views were beautiful. Such a lovely peaceful place to stay

We had such an amazing get away, it was so relaxing and felt like home. Paul was super helpful, made us feel comfortable and gave a great recommendation for food. Close enough to get to the Beach and town but far enough to enjoy the quiet and relax!

Lovely stay, loved the cabin and its own private garden was perfect for our dogs.

I live locally and booked the shepherd's hut for my parents for a night. They were absolutely delighted with the stay - it's extremely comfortable, well appointed and spacious. They commented that the shower was fantastic, and there are loads of thoughtful touches all around the cabin as you explore. Thanks again, Mandy and Martin - I'm sure they'll be back!

What a quaint shepherds hut. It had everything we needed and more. The decor was lovely and the attention to detail was superb. Even the welcome touches, bread, eggs and milk on arrival. Would highly recommend.

The Hut was a cosy, tranquil place to stay. We loved that it felt private, a little piece of the New Forest just for you. The Hut had everything you could need and more, we were very surprised by all the little touches added to make it feel extra special. Jo was an amazing host. She has done wonders with The Hut. We are already looking to book another stay this year. A gem of a find and we can't recommend it enough.

Amazing stay! This Haytrailer was a great get away and looked better in person than online! I’d recommend to anyone that wants to get away into the countryside and also be a 10 min drive away from Bath. The Haytrailer was kitted out everything you would need. Hot hub was amazing.

We had a wonderful few days stay at the shepherd's hut. The hut is so beautifully and thoughtfully designed, and super well equipped with everything you could need! It was so cosy, a perfect little respite. Would highly recommend! Thanks for everything!

Our visit to Moreton was made all the more memorable and special by how unique and perfect our stay in Ruth's shepherds huts was, staying here was the perfect combination of everything we wanted out of a weekend away rolled up into a very well presented and produced package that catered for pretty much every all we could of hoped and asked for, it was truly a pleasure to stop the two nights we had and found it such a relaxing and enjoyable experience to have the privacy and peace of the huts and the surrounding garden to unwind in and bask in the tranquility of it all, Ruth was a superb host and was very friendly and helpful along with always being on hand to assist with any potential issues so I would highly this place as somewhere you can't afford to miss out on if you are visiting this area.

Honestly the most peaceful sleep ive had in years the bed the surroundings just everything!!! It was so good for my soul this place definitely comming back without question.. Had a brilliant time the place is bigger then it seems in the pictures so clean and efficient..Thanks soo much again!

Absolutely perfect. Our two young children were nervous to stay away from home, were so at ease they didn't want to leave. Really is a 5* all round. Chickens are bonkers and super friendly. The only negative was we never got to meet Victoria to thank her in person. Which really isn't negative at all 😀 I would have just gushed at her! It's so easy to navigate everything we had no worries in the world. We literally had the entire place to ourselves. Thank you so much. I didn't want to leave either x

My partner and I stayed at the cabin over the weekend and we were so happy with everything. The cabin is private, clean, tidy and accessible. We had lovely conversations with the owner of the home, what a lovely lady. We loved the little touches like the milk, tea, coffee etc, cereal, bread, biscuits.
