"Birdsong @ Girralong" - Secluded forest cabin

Relax, unplug and unwind in nature. Birdsong is a haven for birdwatching, observing native wildlife and bushwalking. The cabin is nestled on a 100 acre property, in a secluded valley, surrounded by forest and adjoining nature reserve, with views to the surrounding hills. We invite you to come and enjoy a tranquil break in the heart of nature, brimming with native wildlife. Sit on the covered veranda and experience serenity or wander down to the crystal clear flowing river with swimming hole.

Highlands Lodge

Highlands Lodge is a magnificent stone and timber chalet nestled amongst 150 year old deciduous English Elm and many other European Trees. It is beautiful year round but particularly in Autumn. Located at Black Mountain (approx. half way between Sydney and Brisbane) in the heart of the beautiful New England Region, it is only 25 minutes north of Armidale and 10 minutes south of Guyra. Set on a working Sheep and Cattle property, Highlands Lodge is the perfect place to relax and unwind.

Barking Dog Gallery Bedsit

Barking Dog Gallery is opposite The Top Pub and New England Brewery on the main road in Uralla. The self catering bedsit is attached to the back of the house down the driveway behind Barking Dog Galley and the pottery workshop. The bedsit features skylights, double glazing, antique and modern furniture, a queen size bed and a well equiped kitchen. Tea, coffee and milk is supplied. Just walk across the road for a great meal at The Top Pub. Check in after 3pm. Check out 10am.

Dunroamin is a peaceful 2 bedroom house 12 kms from the centre of Armidale with plenty of room for the kids to move. The space Neat & tidy 2 bedroom house that can sleep up to 6 people (on request). Only minutes away from the Armidale pine forest which has plenty of mountain bike & walking tracks. Or you can choose to sit and relax and watch the local wildlife at Dunroamin. Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. Approximately 7 km/10min to the Armidale CBD, this self contained granny flat is set on an acre of garden with large shady trees, with an open northern view to quintessential New England countryside. Just off the highway on a quiet country road with an easy walk or bike ride to and along the Tilbuster Pond, leading on to the Armidale Pine Forest. The granny flat is connected to the main house but has it's own separate entry.

Self-contained mountain top cabin with incredible views over the Bellinger Valley and beyond. The cabin is newly renovated with a kitchen, bathroom and fireplace. It comes with a deck for your private use and uninterrupted views of the breathtaking sunset. We will be on hand for any advice or help but you will be left to enjoy your stay. A short drive from the Dorrigo township and National Park, but otherwise serenely secluded on our 50-acre property. Idyllic farm cabin.

The "Reynella" Hut

"Reynella" is a restored and well appointed hut with breathtaking views on 100 acres. This charming, light filled hut is a studio (10 minutes from central Armidale) providing a warming space to relax and unwind with a sense of peace and privacy. You can take a stroll down to the river on the property (keep your eyes out for our resident platypus!) or explore the Blue Hole Swimming area and Gara Gorge being a short two minute drive from the hut.

The Garden Shed

This new, fully self-contained granny flat is clean and spacious, and centrally located - 10 to 15 minute walk to town centre and 3.5 km from the UNE. Shared backyard and garden with the owner-occupied main house, you can feel free to help yourself to the vege patch. After two busy years, and lovely, consistent guest feedback, I'm making a small rate adjustment to keep things in line with the market. Note - security cameras are external only
