Olof was a wonderful host! Her and her husband met us at the rental and gave us a tour and was there to see if we had any questions. Beautiful home and great location!

We had a great 3 day stay at Sveinns place in Akureyri and used it as a base camp for daytrips in the area/region. We were 3 adults and found the place spacious and clean with comfortable beds and large bathroom. Large kitchen with all the things we needed for our stay. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood 5-8 min driving from downtown Akureyri. There are grocery stores not so far from the house. We can strongly recommend this place.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage! It was comfortable, clean, and peaceful and had everything we needed. Great place to stay if you’re in the area.

The house is a fabulous base from which to explore Akureyri and the local area. You need a car. The outlook over Akureyi is absolutely stunning and we were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights from there.

The house was perfect for our needs (we are a family of 7)- even big! Kitchen was great and the location was beautiful! Highly recommend!

Anna's place is off the beaten path so it is quiet and calm, on a farm with excellent greenhouses, which we got to tour. Only a 15 minute and very scenic drive into Akureyri with all of its restaurants and swimming pool. Anna was very responsive and her place is clean and very easy to use. The hot tub was wonderful! This is a lovely spot to take a break from driving the Ring Road.

The house is comfortable, warm, clean, well equipped and in a stunning location. The hot tub is easy to use and very nice to relax in. We stayed 3 nights and could have happily stayed much longer. Despite the weather (cold with low cloud and rain) we loved the views over the water and the snowy mountains. We drove up to Siglufjordur which is beautiful, walked on the causeway in front of the house and on Dalvik beach which is gorgeous, and did the classic whale watching from Dalvik and saw humpbacks, minke whales and porpoises. Also visited Tjornes peninsula and Husavic. Unfortunately the puffins left early this year so we didn't see any, but the coast is dramatic and we did some good walks. All fantastic. Thanks Ragnar.

Áttum dásamlega dimbilviku á Sílastöðum. Dásamleg staðsetning nálægt Akureyri en samt fríðsæl sveita ró á staðnum. Potturinn góður og allt hreint og fínt og notalegt. Helgi var sérstaklega inndæll þegar ég þurfti á honum að halda og brást við fagmannlega, hratt og vinalega. Mæli innilega með og við munum koma aftur.

Our first Air BnB thatcame with smiles and handshakes! Helga and her husband are not only great hosts but great people as well. The communication back and forth was quick and easy. Any question we we got an answer instantly... and follow her directions not google! The farm is on one of the most beautiful pieces of land with the most outstanding views, yet a very short to town, grocery store, etc. The space had everything we needed, including a very spacious shower with hot water for days! The bed was very comfy but our favorite room was the living area with all the awesome views. My husband and I now have a joke that Helga turned on the Northern Lights for us... after 8 nights in Iceland with no lights we were able to experience this phenomenon right out the front door. Thanks Helga! Don’t hesitate to book when staying in Akureyri, we hope to be back again one day!

The house is big and there are many beds. But, indeed you need to be aware of the stairs. The place is beautiful, a very good choice for a group of friends.

A very convenient location with a an excellent host! We relaxed at night, and enjoyed the area during the day. Excellent amenities and comfortable.

El apartamento en la granja es bonito. Los dueños solucionaron rápidamente un pequeño problema y se preocuparon por nuestra comodidad. Muy agradables y comunicativos. Para recomendar.

Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und ordentlich. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Alles in allem eine sehr schöne Unterkunft in guter ruhiger Lage. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit und antwortet auf Fragen und Anliegen.

Das Haus ist einfach wundervoll. Wir hatten 3 tolle Tage im Haus und konnten die Wale beobachten. Für uns war dieses Haus ein Highlight in Island. Immer wieder gerne…Danke dafür!

Great place, cozy and unique and close to lots of stuff to see

Very nice apartment, very clean, well equipped. You’ll find everything you need here. They even have a washing machine and dryer (shared with 2 other apartments) available. We had a very nice stay here and the owners have a very friendly dog who loved to be petted. The airbnb is located very conveniently, close to Húsavík, Akureyri, Mývatn and a lot of sightseeing places. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Beautiful cabin in a lovely location with amazing views.

Our stay here was very comfortable. This was the best equipped of all the kitchens and apartment in general of all the bnb’s we stayed at. Warm and cosy with the underfloor heating. Very easy to find just on the road 85. Highly recommend. Cute cheeky puppies too 🥰

Linda è stata molto gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo trovato una casa semplice accogliente e molto calda. Una sauna e una vasca la renderebbero ancora migliore. Abbiamo avuto un problema con il bagno che ha risolto tempestivamente, e poi un disguido con la cucina non fatto di proposito. Sicuramente consiglio e tornerò. In inverno non è facile raggiungere per le strade ma sarà stupendo con le luci del nord

Casa molto confortevole, ben rifinita e accessoriata! eravamo in due famiglie di amici e ci siamo trovati benissimo!!!
