Original North - is a small family business. The owner of the house was raised on the farm Vað in Þingeyjarsveit where the house is located. The house is renovated charming farmhouse in a quiet area only 50 meters from the river Skjálfandafljót. This area has a unique spirit where it is easy to relax in the nature. We will focus on letting our guests feel welcome in a friendly and relaxing atmosphere created by the host family.

Hamrar Farm Apartment

The studio apartment is newly renovated in the basement of our house. You enter a room with two beds ( one 160 cm bed and one 90 cm bed) in the other room is kitchen and bathroom. Me and my familie live on the second floor. We are on a farm and have horses, sheeps, chickens and a dog We are also near by many interesting places, about 30 km from Mývatn, 35 km from Húsavík, 15 km from Goðafoss watefall.

My accommodation is close to Akureyri at 50 km, Husavik at 45 km, Myvatn lake at 50 km, the Asbyrgi site at 100 km. My accommodation is a comfortable room with environment in full nature and only 3 km of the road 1. My accommodation is suitable for couples, solo travelers and families.
