It's one of the best places to enjoy nature in Lake County. The outer loop is 2.5 miles around, which is perfect for a walk, jog, or bike ride. If you're feeling ambitious, the trail connects to the Des Plaines River Trail, which will take you all way up to Wisconsin. At the marina, you can rent a variety of boats - kayaks, canoes, pedal boats, and more recently, paddle boards. The cafe serves up tasty food in the summer months. What's not to love!
