The Groot Begijnenhof offers an amazing experience in historic settings. The buildings (which are used by employees of the university) are part of UNESCO and are therefore kept in their original state. The small streets allow for a romantic walk at night and breathtaking views during the day on the small rivers. Not to miss!!

Perhaps the most iconic neighborhood of Leuven. The old beguinage is now inhabited by students and university staff. It is more than worth a stroll and you can conclude your visit with a bite or drink in the beautiful Begijnhof Hotel.
