Princes Street gardens runs along Edinburgh's main shopping street. If the weather is nice, its a great place to sit and watch the world go by.

Lots to explore - and paths up to the Old Town. Ross Fountain recently been restored. Reasonable park for young kids at the far west end.

Great place to walk through or sit and relax with a view of the castle with a picnic right in the heart of the city.

Famous park located aside with Princes Street, which is the most famous shopping street in Edinburgh. Nice view of the castle and of the old town.

Princes Street Gardens is a public park in the centre of Edinburgh, in the shadow of Edinburgh Castle. The Gardens were created in two phases in the 1770s and 1820s following the long draining of the Nor Loch and building of the New Town, beginning in the 1760s
