Huge, beautiful park with basketball courts, tennis courts, playscapes, splash pads, dog parks, nature walks, picnic areas and a track. Best place to watch the sunset in Bayonne, and planes take off across the water

This park is absolutely beautiful . You can enjoy all the scenery around you of huge trees , well kept grass , no litter ! They have playgrounds for children ! A beautiful trail to walk alongside the water , you can bike ride as well... Barbeque pits in one area ! Just an all around great park!

Stephen R. Gregg Park is our favorite local park that has the waterfront promenade with views of Newark Bay and beautiful sunsets. You will observe fishermen, sailboats and cargo ships, planes landing across the bay. If you visit there during the day time, make sure you go all the way towards to north, where there’s a 40-acre wetlands preserve called “Richard A. Rutkowski Park”. There you will find a natural amphitheater with a quarter mile wooden walkway through a bird sanctuary, a peaceful place to observe nature. Great for a quiet walk, jogging or to spend time with the family!
