There's a small parking lot on the left on the corner of Alhambra and Franklin Canyon Road towards the downtown area. There is a hike with good inclines and views up Mt. Wanda.

This is a great hiking trail located in Martinez. The initial hill you have to hike is a bit steep, but the view of the Martinez from the top makes it well worth the effort!

Mount Wanda is a historic site and a has great hiking trails. Dogs are welcome and snacks are encouraged because with the beautiful views at the top, it is a great picnic area. There is a fairly steep hill for the first portion, then the trail gets easier at the top.
