Gruene River Grill is another restaurant tucked away in Gruene. Not a lot of tourist know about this place because it is hidden off the beaten path. It has an American menu with river views & a riverside deck.

Nice relaxing atmosphere and serene patio out back. My favorite: Pork Carnitas and the Filet with gorgonzola. Huge portions so plan to take some home or split with a friend
