Go before they open and wait in line, otherwise you will wait for hours. Lucali is outrageously good and the owner is a local legend. He rolls his crusts with a wine bottle, and once survived a mafia-style stabbing on the street near the restaurant.

Lucali is one of the most famous pizza places in NYC. If you would like to try, we recommend you get there as soon as it opens at 5PM, as the lines usually go around the block.

One of Brooklyn’s top pizza places is a short walk away (be sure to arrive when they first open, and even then expect a wait ... that’s worth it).
