Located just a few metres away from Pearse Mews, Mountmellick Museum provides a great snapshot of our history as a town. Founded by the Quakers, Mountmellick has a very rich history in textiles, particularly Mountmellick Embroidery (a.k.a. Mountmellick Work). A visit to the Museum is an interesting way to spend some time.
