A family restaurant bar with great sunset views over a small pebble beach. Ideal also for a cocktail or a drink stop along your way to Fiskardo.

Alaties beach is small but perfectly formed where you can lap up the sunshine either on the beach itself or on the surrounding rocks. There’s good parking available and a beach bar serving food all day and into the evening where you can watch the sun set with a cocktail in hand.

Lovely little beach, with crystal clear waters. The restaurant on top (Alati) is highly recommended - incredible food and scenery. The best place to watch the sunset.

Alaties Beach (Salty Beach) is a fairly hidden and thus unknown beach, located in northwest of Kefalonia. The intersection for Alaties Beach is located on the main road from Argostoli to Fiskardo, in the settlement of Maganos. This small beach is surrounded by cliffs, which many people use to dive into the crystal clear waters. Its name comes from the small hollows of the rocks, on which the sea salt has dryed on. The sea ground is just fabulous. Continuous diving is not recommended though, because of the stong commended sea currents.
