This is our favorite Lake Michigan beach. The beach is beautiful and there are plenty of Petoskey stones!

If you're a beach lover, you'll love the Lake Michigan beach here. It's usually pretty quiet and you can always find Petoskey stones. There's also a trail to stretch your legs, a viewing platform (or selfie station), and a kiosk with interesting history about the the first logging settlers and a very sad story of the traffic death of a young hand on the sawmill dock.

Situated on Lake Michigan’s East Grand Traverse Bay, this property is a great place to explore the shore and the woods. Visitors enjoy marked trails, a viewing platform, interpretive signage and an informational kiosk.
