A bit of a unique beach experience (for Pinellas). It reminds me of a drive to the Keys. You can park your car on the sand, amongst the mangroves. It's a bit of a "redneck beach", very roadside, dogs running around, grills out, people fishing, a decent launch site for kayaks. It's about a 25 minute drive from us.

Very low key beach! If you are with family and pets, it is a great beach to relax with them and enjoy the white sand and clear water.

Just across the Gandy Bridge is a wonderful trip of beach and nature. No toilets or showers.... just beach and more beach. On the left side as you cross the bridge for swimmers and sun bathing, and if you want to fish, go on the right side. Beware of the tide in the afternoon.... do not leave your car unattended and go somewhere.... be aware that the tide comes close up! Beautiful place to catch some rays.

beautiful small and quiet beach. if you are lucky privet spots are available as well. great for water activities with near by water activities rentals
