This is a great spot for a wonderful view of the gorge. You can also walk along the gorge (about a mile) and get down to the river. Grab the picnic basket, pack a lunch and enjoy the afternoon at the gorge.
Quechee Gorge is located in Quechee, Vermont along U.S. Route 4. The gorge is 165 feet deep and is the deepest gorge in Vermont. It serves as a popular tourist attraction in Quechee State Park and can be viewed from the U.S. Route 4 bridge and from trails on both sides of the gorge.
Great views from the top and the bottom of the Gorge. Stunning during foliage season but special throughout the year.
Beautiful lookout over the bridge and an easy walk along the trails. They even have segways you can rent.
Visit the Visitor's Center. View the gorge from the bridge or hike into the Gorge. Swimming hole located at bottom of gorge.
