Spring Lake has longer walking trails follow the path around the lake for a few hour stroll. Spring lake has kayak and little boat rentals, a large swimming area for the family and a snack stand. We saw a bald eagle here so keep your eyes peeled for good bird spotting!

About a 2.4 mile paved loop, Spring Lake is a regional park, kind of Santa Rosa's idea of a central park. $7 parking. Beautiful but maybe a bit more populated than some of the other options.

Beautiful lake and easy to walk around in less than an hour. Plenty of wild life, bird watching, kayaking and swimming.
