“Welcome to Espace Dalí, close to the Place du Tertre, in the artistic district of Montmartre. The permanent exhibition offers the largest collection in France of sculptures, engravings and lithographs created by Salvador Dalí, the master of Surrealism. Here we can discover an artist who wished to capture the great themes as he saw them in such works as The Persistence of Memory, but also the Venus Spatiale, an embodiment of beauty, Dali-style. Here we can also enjoy the designer who applied his unique visionary conceptions to everyday objects, as demonstrated by his Boca Canapé, the famous Mae West Lips Sofa.”

“Le Moulin de la Galette represented diversion for Parisians seeking entertainment, a glass of wine and bread made from flour ground by the windmill. Artists, such as Renoir, van Gogh, and Pissarro have immortalized Le Moulin de la Galette; likely the most notable was Renoir's festive painting “Bal du moulin de la Galette”.”

“Walk through the same plaza and cobblestoned streets that Picasso, Van Gogh, Renoir, Gertrude Stein, Hemingway and the other great artists walked during their time in Paris. Just be aware that this is a very touristy spot so keep an eye on your belongings and head up for an early stroll if you can.”

“Tiny and lovely little cinéma in the Rue Tholozé, that you come up to go to the top of Montmartre. The lamps in the projection room where designed by Jean Cocteau. Don't miss it while it still exists !”
