“Tweetsie Railroad is a must for the kids! Ride the original #12 train (built in 1917) of the East Tennessee/Western North Carolina Railroad! Amusement park rides, shows, gift shops, ski lift, and petting zoo account for some of the fun things to do at Tweetsie. Operating days/times are seasonal, so be sure to check their hours first! During the fall months, the Ghost Train runs at night through Halloween. Located 4 miles away.”

“Good, fresh and creative! One of my favorites is their "grown-up grilled cheese" with fig & bacon and a side of Brussels sprouts. They serve brunch, lunch and supper and have big tables for families or small tables for two. Open Mondays - Saturdays from 11:00a-2:00a and Sundays from 11:00a-10:00p. Open every day:)”
