Here is where I rock! Everyone else might steer you to Santa Monica, or Venice for surfing. No!! Look up the Makos. These are surfing pros that feature the best surf lessons in the city. My daughter goes to surf camp every summer. It is fantastic and they surf at Zuma.

Surfing at Zuma Beach: Malibu Makos Surf Club gives private, group, and kids’ surf lessons. They teach at Zuma Beach and are considered a solid surfing school by locals -- we've personally had great experiences with their instructors. (19.3 Miles from Villa, 23.3 miles back)

Got kids and they want to learn Ocean safety and Surf too? Call Tom. He knows how to do this right. I also have taken lessons from them and they are awsome.
