When the Last Bookstore converted an old downtown LA bank into a massive retail space, they invited Scott Craig to move in with his Records L.A. store. If you walk in and turn right, you’ll see the many bins that he stocks on a weekly basis and you could easily kill a few hours between the used books and used records. The Last Bookstore is a worthwhile destination in its own right. It’s an amazing space filled with endless rows of new and used books. Don’t forget to go upstairs and look around the stacks and vaults up there. Trust me.

“Great food in a historic area! There are so many options here, there is truly something for everyone. Parking in this area is terrible and traffic can be frustrating so I recommend taking the metro for this one. It’s right across the street from the station, so minimal walking is required. ”
