The boat slip is within the subdivision, making it a quick way to dock your boat at the private pier behind the home. Plenty of places to explore up & down the river. Tickfaw State Park is upriver and there are four night clubs that play live music, with pier docking, & dining. Lake Maurepas is 14 miles down river. Manchac Middendorf 20 miles down river. You can navigate to anywhere from the house.

Please read detailed description of property before booking. Set in a 22 acre parcel on the Natalbany River 6.5 miles from downtown Hammond. Enjoy nature with a walk along the trail from house to river. This building has been built with mostly reclaimed, reused and upcycled materials. The rustic interior walls are clad in huge boards milled on the property after Katrina damage. Note the unusual shower with handmade tiles. There are other unique structures on property.

Please enjoy. It is within 3 minutes of all of downtown Hammond. We are only 45 minutes from New Orleans, 18 minutes from Mandeville and 35 minutes from Baton Rouge.
