Tillamook Forest Cottage Retreat (25 Min To Coast)

Relax at Porcupine Cottage. 600 sq foot cottage on the Trask River 15 miles from town. 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom, (1 queen bed in bedroom, and a twin sleeper sofa in living room. Kitchen has a full size refrigerator, microwave, griddle, countertop mini oven and dbl hotplate. Access to the river is across our meadow and down a steep trail. Starlink internet/Wifi/cell phone calling. No AC but nights are cool year round. We live in the barn house on the property next to cottage. STVR#851-17-000020

Our surf style cabin may be small, but the large windows with views of the bay, ocean and coastal forests allow for lots of light to flood the space. Just a short walk to the beach, shops and near some of Northern Oregon’s best surf breaks. Enjoy foggy mornings in the hot tub, adventure during the day and spend sunsets by the fire pit or on our large deck. Come Stay! A quaint and family friendly escape just an hour and a half from Portland on the deserted, misty, drift wood strewn Pacific shore in Cape Meares, Oregon. The Cape is a well designed space with an analog vibe. Relax on the deck, get cozy by the fire or watch the waves roll in. The beach, a mix of sand and stone with so much to explore, is just a short walk. There are tide pools to explore and great nearby hikes. Cape Meares Lighthouse is a short drive as is the 'Octopus Tree.'
