The name, “Hotei-an”, comes from Hotei-san, who is one of the Seven Deities of Good Luck. The 7 statues at the “Hotei-an” have been enshrined there for many years. It is said that Hotei-san will make your dreams come true, help you to have a happy home, and bring you luck with money. “Hotei-an” was renovated and re-started as a private hotel in 2015.
