Smugglers’ Creek is a cosy traditional fisherman’s cottage on the riverside in the lovely village of Stoke Gabriel, South Hams. There is a slipway just outside the cottage where you can launch your dinghy or kayak, and you can also hire a kayak from the quay in summer. Ivy Cottage is our beautiful thatched cottage in Ilsington, Dartmoor. Three bedrooms (sleeping 6), and a log burner that earns its keep when the weather turns. Wet boots by the door, logs on the fire, and Netflix if you don't want to go out! Dartmoor is right there — Haytor, the ponies, a good long walk and a cream tea! Ilsington is a small and quiet village. The village pub closes 26 September; others around Haytor and Bovey Tracey. Parking available outside the cottage!

Having undertaken a major modernisation the cottage retains many historical features . Sleeping 6 in 3 double bedrooms there is a large kitchen diner , sitting room with log burner , bathroom with bath and separate shower and a downstairs cloakroom . The enclosed small garden to the rear offers lovely views and the opportunity to star gaze at night . We allow flexible check in and check out times if there are no bookings either side. One dog is welcome for a booking fee of £60.
