Visit Tumbarumba Rail Trail,Paddy's River Falls, Hume & Hovell Trackheads, Sculpture Trail,Southern Cloud Lookout, Mt Selwyn Snowfield & Upper Murray drives. Modern additions to the Cottage include central heating, wifi, fully equipped new kitchen, BBQ & fire pit. Sadly we can't accept children under 12 yrs of age or hunters.

Located in Towong, Vic on the Upper Murray River, we offer amazing views of the river, foothills and the Snowy Mountains Range. Our 2 cottages are uniquely constructed with open beams and a cozy atmosphere. They are self-contained with linen provided and efficient reverse cycle air conditioned. The main view in the photos is from the communal viewing deck, not from the cottage. Read more in The Space. We provide excellent hospitality and very clean, personal and pleasant accommodation.

Guests will have their own entrance that opens up to a sun-filled, modern room-ensuite with a fully equipped private kitchen that overlooks our landscaped courtyard. All amenities in the room are new and please treat this facility as your own. The place is geographically central to all of the Canberra's attractions and most of the Governemt offices, just 10 minutes to the city, Belconnen, Barton, Kingston and Woden. Public transport available from top of the road. Street parking available.

Whitening Cottage - Tumbarumba

Turn of the century "Farm Worker's Cottage" that became part of Tumbarumba as this picturesque little mountain town has grown over the last 100 years. Originally part of the Snowy's farming land holdings, it's now just a short distance from beautiful parklands, Rail Trail, delightful cafes, wineries, trout fishing, & historical walking tracks such as the Hume & Hovell National Trail. With ski fields within easy access, there is something to satisfy every adventure & taste throughout the year.

It has two comfortable lounges facing each other which makes for easy conversation or a movie night. A television doubles as beautiful art. "1885" is a warehouse built in 1885, which has been beautifully converted to apartment style accommodation. It is located on Union Lane, behind Ride Tumba and right beside the Union Hotel. You can easily walk to cafes, pubs and shops and it is just under 2 kilometres to the start of the rail trail. The building is two-storey, with a living and kitchen area downstairs and a spacious open plan bedroom with bathroom upstairs.
