The Little Shamba Retreat

The Shamba Guest House is a little retreat on a self catering basis for a couple or a family or group of four people, with a double bed in the en-suite bedroom and two sofa beds in the living area. It is located on a working farm and is part of our family home although separated and private. We are almost off grid with solar lighting as mains electricity is unreliable and our own well water. Internet connectivity is sporadic but phones work. We do everything to make it comfortable for you.

Kacheera Camp Self-Contained Home - Lake Mburo NP

Home is comfy, basic and character filled! The house runs off of solar power, some days there's lots of sun on other cloudy days you have to be a bit careful with your power usage. A small fridge will keep you essentials cool. There's plenty of wildlife, our 22 acres are yours to wander and explore. Lake Mburo National Park is only a 25 minute drive away. Nature takes priority here (even currently in the roof with the bats!) from mosquitos to hippos, we respect that we live in their home.

The beautiful cottages are fitted with en-suite bathrooms, flat TV screens and have terraces where guests may enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding. Located 31kms to Bwindi Impenetrable forest famous for gorilla tracking and 18kms to Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park where tree climbing lions can be viewed. Bwindi Cultural Centre is located at Kishenyi which is 7kms from Kihihi town along Kihihi-Kanungu road. There is sign poston the road.
