The hottub is always hot and the oversized couches are always comfy. The neighborhood is family/wildlife oriented. Come unwind and relax in the sticks!

The space comfortably sleeps 4 people (one queen bed and one king bed in the loft). Enjoy the relaxing sounds of nature sitting around the fire pit or screened deck! Living room TV is a smart TV!

Your stay will include homemade baked goods made by our family, Cold breakfast foods such as cereal and fruit will be available. There is a beautiful pine grove with a picnic area and a fire pit for your use. There is also a massage chair by the electric fireplace where you can relax those aching muscles.

The Cottages at Whippoorwill Acres were newly built in 2025 and are located at the junction of Highways 63 and 136 south of Lancaster, Missouri. Kirksville, MO is located 20 minutes to the south, and Bloomfield, IA is located 25 minutes to the north. We have six cottages on the property that accommodate 1-6 guests each.
