My family of 5 had a great stay at Ida’s Dome! We had intended to play in the Idyllwild snow, as that’s typically what we do for New Year’s, but this was an abnormally warm winter, so we ended up hiking in Idyllwild and lounging at the Dome instead. We made use of all of the amenities at the Dome. There’s a great game table in the upstairs loft area that’s perfect for cards, poker, and games. There’s a full library and lots of dvd’s too. Our tween and teen boys loved being in the Dome because it was unique and had a lot of space to spread out. We had great family time, played lots of games, watched movies, and made lots of meals together in the very well appointed kitchen. The market in Idyllwild has a surprisingly vast array of organic produce, gluten free and vegan options, as well as just about any packaged food you could want. As others said, the acoustics are unique. We slept well, but once one person is awake, everyone else wakes up too. Wasn’t a problem for us though!

We had a great stay. The house is decorated beautifully and the layout was perfect for our family. The view from the hot tub was amazing. The house is conveniently located to groceries and other things we needed. It was a short drive to JT national park. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were very nice. We loved every thing about the house.

Coreys dome house is the best styled Airbnb I have rented- its gorgeous with tasteful and interesting art & curiosities. It feels more like staying in a cool friends' home than a rental home. We took great use of the hot tub and well equipped kitchen and the very convenient entrance to Joshua Tree Park.

The geodome is a unique stay. The cabin was comfortable and and well-styled. An added bonus is that there's plastic kid-friendly bowls, plates, and cups so we didn't need to worry about our young ones breaking anything. The open layout was ideal for our family to socialize while cooking and there's a cute play area upstairs with toys for the kids. The neighborhood was quiet and we were able to soak in the stars a night next to the fire pit. Maria was super responsive to all of my messages (responded in a few minutes), which was helpful when I couldn't turn on the washer/dryer since the breaker had tripped. Maria helped me locate the electric panel to flip the breaker and there wasn't any further nuisance tripping. We enjoyed staying at Maria and Jared's geodome and would come back again!

Amazing property, communication was perfect and the check in was really easy. This place is magical, and if you’re in group, it’s totally worth every penny!

Ill have to say that of all the airbnb places we have stayed i really felt like i was at home this place is very recommended for any event or a romantic getaway or for your family !!! Thank you ellen for everything God bless you and we look forward to another stay some day .

Martha’s home is beautiful, well maintained, and was the perfect place for me to host a small retreat (9 people) for folks to unwind and connect. The upstairs kitchen has a long table that people can hang out at while others cook, there is plenty of space for folks to spread out inside the house and out, and the beds were so comfortable. Martha was responsive to any questions I had. We had a great time and we hope to be back!

I absolutely LOVED this stay. Very vibey and clean place. Definitely a unique stay but would stay again in a heartbeat. Good place to reconnect with nature and hangout.

Great glamping experience! Would definitely recommend for anyone who wants to experience camping with hotel amenities and comfort. The host was easy to communicate with and was proactive in providing very clear instructions for anything you may have questions for.

Small issue with guest who wasn’t supposed to be there yet. But Joe fixed it and we had a lot of fun. We got to watch a couple large thunderstorms roll in and the dome was a spectacular front seat to the lightening show.

We had a great time. The Dome was a very unique experience. The location was very nice as it was accessible to many different cities with great food and things to do. Very quite and relaxing with great views.

My wife and I wanted a nice peaceful getaway and we found it at Luna. We both enjoyed our stay and would love to do it again.

My partner and I loved staying here! Host was really kind and responsive, and the location was so cute! We definitely will be back soon!

From the moment I arrived at the Skydome, I was swept away by its peacefulness, privacy, and stunning natural beauty. Opening the door to soft jazz playing, a chilled bottle of Martinelli’s with two glasses, and decadent chocolates waiting was such a thoughtful touch — it set the tone for a truly rejuvenating stay. The tranquil surroundings made it feel like a private retreat from the world. Evenings spent in the jacuzzi, sipping wine under a canopy of stars, were absolutely magical. Communication with the host was seamless; their attention to detail and genuine care for the guest experience really stood out. If you're looking for a serene escape to recharge your mind and body, this is the perfect place. I can’t wait to come back!

I’m not even sure where to start. From the beginning I suppose. What caught my eye was the fact that it was a dome tent and then next was the location. Every single thing about this property was exceptional. I booked it as a surprise for my s/o and I had balloons and a cake set up waiting for him by our very gracious hosts. It was beautiful and the cake was to die for. The bed was also one of the most comfortable beds we’ve slept in a very long time. We enjoyed our first night by the fire under the stars and it was pure bliss. The next day we were able to chat with the owner of the property and we learned all about the family history! What a gem of a woman! Thank you for everything! We highly recommend the old mill coffeehouse for delicious coffees and lattes. Another plus was a nice drive over to the antique mall. Make sure you stop over at LauraMae’s smokehouse BBQ. Yes some places are a little drive away but worth every mile in the beautiful country. Looking fwd to going back

The views from this place are dreamy, and it’s close to Ashland’s town center which is lovely. One note is that it definitely does get warm inside even on chillier days with the sun coming right inside, but the AC inside cools it down very quickly. It was an amazing stay, we even saw a few deer from the patio area! Would definitely stay here again

If you want to go off the grid this is the place. Very remote and quiet, totally relaxing. The dome is an interesting concept, we loved it. No TV! That's a plus for me. But you can use their wifi. The kitchen is awesome, very well equipped. You can make serious meals. Just take some Bounty with you. We will be back!

My daughter, sisters & I stayed 4 nights in this little gem. The property is beautiful. The dome is amazing! Everything is very clean and modern. It provides all that you need for daily living. I don't know about the dome sleeping 6, I would say 5. You could fit an inflatable twin mattress for 6. There's a tiny playhouse that's adorable, though we didn't have kids with us. We saw a ground hog & some deer. It was a great experience and we made lots of memories.

My husband was very nervous about staying in a Dome- he is a hotel kinda guy- and he said he would go back in a heartbeat! The instructions were thorough, the location was convenient for our Black Hills adventure, and the beds were so comfy! Bonus points for a lot of space for our kids to run around and get their energy out before bed! I would totally recommend this to anyone!

Wow Max’s place is an absolute must try experience. We arrived after dark and max had all of the outdoor lighting switched on. It was very welcoming and quite a sight to behold. We loved the space, everything was available for us to use. Wonderful. Thank you

Julie et al are an awesome host team. The accommodations are super chic and cozy - the grounds are well kept making for a beautiful getaway during any season of the year. I definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quick reprieve from city life or an alternative to local resorts. <3

Perfect getaway for a long weekend! Great spot tucked away for "being one with nature" , only a short drive to either town, and centrally located for several hiking trails in the area. We loved all the conveniences the geodome had, including a towel warmer in the shared bathroom! Will definitely be back.
