Beyond this private nest are 360 degree views of the Sangre de Christo Mountains, the Rio Grande Gorge, spectacular sunset displays & miles of walking & bike trails.

Phoenix East Wing - Experience off-grid luxury

The Phoenix official Earthship cannot be compared to any other rental in this world. This home’s jungle greenhouse creates its own microclimate in the high mountain desert and is completely off-the-grid, exquisitely detailed and outfitted with modern amenities. The outer greenhouse features towering banana trees, grape vines, birds, turtles and even a fish pond. The inner living spaces are cozy and quiet. My little cabin sits on 28 acres, right off HIGHWAY 285. Only 720 sq ft, it offers two bedrooms and a great kitchen plus washer and dryer and full bath. We have new hiking trails on the thirty acres around us. One can also walk right into the Carson National Forest and have another 40,00 acres to roam. 59 miles to Santa Fe, 35 miles to Taos. 3 RV hookups for extra charge. Horses allowed. High speed internet! We must haul water in so PLEASE CONSERVE! 5 minutes to the hot springs

Like all Earthships this house is built from natural and repurposed materials such as used automobile tires, cardboard, old cans and bottles. All electricity for the house is from solar. This cozy 2-story home sits on 10 acres in the Chama River Valley, with views of Cerro Pedernal and the mountains. Rustic, cozy, with all basic amenities. Ideal for the solo artist or couple. Hiking + hot springs nearby, including Ghost Ranch, Poshuouingue ruins & Ojo Caliente Springs! Most pets are welcome (for a pet fee). Our casita sits on 13.5 acres of land and has expansive views of Abiquiu, the Chama river valley, the geologic formations known as Plaza Blanca (or the “White Place”), and the Sangre de Cristo Mountains over Santa Fe. We are located 55mins from Santa Fe, and 5hrs from Denver. Abiquiu is a destination frequented by artists, writers, spirit seekers, and nature lovers from around the world.
