The Forest Hermitage of Turtle Haven Sanctuary

The Forest Hermitage is part of Turtle Haven Sanctuary nearby and has a specific purpose of providing inspiration and retreat for artists, writers, naturalists, and those drawn to stillness and inner contemplation, in need of rest, and renewal. The two-story structure is located in a forest grove on several wooded acres, across the road from a view of the Nooksack River and valley. This Pacific Northwest corner is renowned for its spawning salmon in season, abundant eagles, and other wildlife.

Rustic Retreat

Quiet, private, secluded home on 25 acres of forested land. The home was built from logs milled on site. Enjoy filtered spring water, natural light, stargazing, & views of the tops of Mount Baker and the Sisters on a clear day. Owls and Elk can be heard during the evening hours at certain times of the year. Heat is provided by a wood stove and 3 space heaters. Mount Baker is 1 hour away; Bellingham is 30 minutes. Well-behaved, house trained, and supervised pets are welcome with a per pet fee.

We're sorry but the Nest is not suitable/safe for small children and due to allergies we can't accommodate pets.

Charming barn apartment loft on a 15 acre farm

Close to downtown Bellingham and the Mt Baker Ski / recreation area. Perfect for a couple or single Bellingham explorer, Mt Baker bound, or adventure travelers. This Dairy Barn built in 1912 is completely remolded, beautiful wood work with stair access to the top 1000 sq.ft. floor loft. Drive around the back where parking is provided next to stair entrance. Full kitchen and bathroom, one queen bed, one fold out Futon couch, gas heat stand alone fireplace. Very private. Self check in.

Country Guesthouse

A quiet, tidy little craftsman home 20 miles from the Mt. Baker National Forest and 40 miles from the Mt. Baker Ski Area. The Middle Fork of the Nooksack and it's wildlife is a short walk to the north. We have a strict cancellation policy but we are really pretty accommodating. If you cancel within 30 days of your stay we will bank those lost funds for future use at any available time in the future. A final note: we require that you be vaccinated and boosted. Hope you understand.

Middle Fork Retreat

This is truly a unique cabin. Designed by architect David Neiman & featured in the book "Log Houses of the World," it combines Japanese style features & NW log-frame construction to create a truly unique experience. Included in the rental is use of the 13+ acre wooded property, including access to the middle fork of the Nooksack River. Fish, hike, and swim from your own private beach. The cabin is close to the year-round outdoor recreational opportunities that Mt. Baker provides.

Enjoy this beautiful setting situated between the charming city of Bellingham and the world class Mt. Baker Ski Area. You'll be staying in our brand new tiny house with views of the eagle sanctuary and within walking distance to the North Fork Eagle preserve, including trails to the Nooksack River. We are 37 miles to the ski area and 20 miles to downtown Bellingham. Perfect for skiing, bald eagle viewing, hiking, biking, dining, and of course, relaxing. Enjoy your stay!

1206 EAST McLeod. Private apt below our home. NO KITCHEN, must be over 25 years to stay in Bellingham. That is Bellingham’s municipal code rules. 2 minutes to I-5. Take Exit 255/WA 542. Near a bus line, Don't feel like going to Canada or Mount Baker tonight? Stay here instead and get an early start in the morning. Quiet but close to everything. We allow dogs for a 20.00 night fee. PLEASE LET US KNOW WHEN BOOKING IF YOU HAVE A DOG. No cats.

One-bedroom guesthouse on our forested rural property. Ideal for a single person or couple looking for a casual and cozy retreat. The guesthouse has a full-size kitchen, living room, queen bedroom with attached bath, enclosed laundry porch, WiFi, and large screen TV (firestick media). A private back deck with a fenced in area. Guests have access to the walking paths, visiting with the horses, and the gazebo hot tub, and outdoor kitchen.

The Doll's House

Great get away, conveniently placed between Mt Baker (38 miles) and Bellingham (11 miles) Internet, open fields and forest around cabin, well placed for hikers, skiers & exploring Bellingham. Great couples get away: 760 sq ft cabin with a king bed, double head shower & cozy fireplace. Bunk beds (limited headroom on top bunk) & queen sofa bed make it possible for a max of 6 guests.

Cozy dog friendly Tiny House located 20-25 minutes from downtown Bellingham, an hour from Mt. Baker Wilderness area and Ski Resort, and 15 minutes from the Sumas Canadian border crossing. It is the perfect place to relax after a long day of exploring! We have farm-fresh eggs for purchase (availability varies). One egg $0.50 a dozen for $6.00
