This cozy 1 bedroom has a king size bed, 1 bath with a shower and unique 1/2 size tub. The views are amazing from the bedroom, kitchen and living area. At high tide you feel like you are on a boat. Access to our private boat ramp for kayak, SUP, or other small watercraft. Come enjoy being on the water!

Some say the cabin has a nautical feel with galley kitchen, wood paneling and brass light fixtures. In the bathroom, copper pipes become towel racks. Outside there are deck chairs and more by the water along with a meditation maze made from beach stones. The lighthouse is a short beach walk away. The reading and writing room, across the path, is a refuge for solitary study or work. Enjoy the water, marine life and birds here where each season brings new joy and sometimes, excitement.

Trails through the forest for hiking. Mountain bike trails at Dockton Pk..Your pet is welcome, leashed, with an additional pet fee.

Welcome to the Vashon Beach House. Located on sought after sandy KVI Beach. No high bank bluffs or trails. This is the only waterfront house located at beach level in the area. The home has been in our family for over 100 years. The flavor is Northwest Beach while also trying to make your stay as comfortable as we can. Our home boasts hand-hewn original rustic beams, yet also offers full wifi, TV with Netflix / Amazon Prime/ Hulu: Sonos speakers.

Waterfront Cabin on the Sound

Looking for a quiet place to get away “glamp” - our special cabin is the place for you. The cabin is SMALL and cozy. It features a queen bed in upstairs sleeping loft as well as a couch that pulls out into a double size sleeper, covered kitchen & private hot shower located OUTSIDE. There's an easy-to-use Incenelet toilet. Someone will meet you to go over check-in when you arrive. We allow you to bring 2 dogs for a $50 fee each.

A five minute walk to Dockton Forest trails and 3 minute drive to Dockton Park with public access to the beach and dock, you can easily enjoy the natural beauty Vashon has to offer. Only five miles from the Pt. Robinson Lighthouse and the Dambo Troll sculpture, Oscar the Bird King.

* The cabin is close to the park, hiking trails, boat launch boat and bike rentals. You’ll love my place because of the views, being right on the private beach and the quiet peninsula. It features 100-plus feet of private, accessible tidal beach waiting to be combed, where gulls chase off bald eagles as a blue heron wades quietly at the water's edge. This newly renovated, light and airy cottage is an enchanting, home away from home.
