Casstevens Homestead Farm House (Entire House)

Casstevens Homestead House located on 145 acres near Mansfield. great for long walks in the country, or a place to get away. This is a working farm with livestock. House is approximately 150 years old, dating back 5 generations. There are large back pastures for walking out in the country. Pets are welcome, but we do have Great Pyrenees on the farm to protect our chickens. They are very friendly but the will probably greet you at the door. We can stable your horses for riding on request.

The Shack

The SHACK is an eclectic space that evolved from our love of building with repurposed materials. Includes old cedar fence pickets, floor tile is made from an old tree. As The SHACK took shape we decided that the theme is sort of anything redneck construction including duck tape, even has a chain link clothes line. With all the amenities of course!! We hand built the custom waterfall sink faucet. Bed is held up w/log chains, tile shower that resembles a quilt w/ exposed copper plumbing.

La Casita

Experience luxury tiny home living when you stay at La Casita, nestled in the county just a few miles from downtown Waxahachie and only 25 minutes from downtown Dallas. With all the amenities of home, this is the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Spacious enough for a couple as well as a kid sized futon in the living room. Kick back and enjoy this curated space after a day of exploring or sip your coffee on the front porch. *** I wanted to emphasize that downtown Waxahachie has 2 trains that run through. They are loud.
