Overlooking the Atlantic ocean, the Zzzz Moose 2.0 Camping Cabin is a uniquely build insulated, heated, wooden "tent" Perfect for luxury Summer and Winter camping. The Cabins sleep up to 4 people and has private 3 pc bathrooms in the, detached, Comfort Station with the added (2024) shared kitchen. Meat Cove Campground (Cabin #1, Bring Own Bedding)

Each camp cabin sleeps 3 people comfortably. Inside each cabin is one double/single bed (with mattress). A table and chairs and 6 foot shaded deck with table outside. The cabins have solar power. (Small lamp and a place to charge small devices. You must also bring all of your own bedding (sleeping bags, pillows, blankets, etc) and all of your own cooking supplies (pots/pans, cups, plates, silverware) These cabins do not have any plumbing or heat. A new 6 seater hot tub has just been added for guests to enjoy. Just minutes away from Cabot’s Landing provincial park, North Highlands Nordic cross country skiing and snowshoeing, gorgeous local hiking trails, Cape Breton Highland’s National park, whale watching, canoeing, kayaking, and so much more.

The Trailhead Guest Cottage

Our peaceful oceanfront guest cottage is situated at the head of the 9.5 km Pollett's Cove hiking trail.  We recommend a two night stay - first night, settle in with a beverage, evening sunset and star gazing.  Wake to coffee and farm fresh breakfast delivered to your door step (except in August when we are on vacation), before hitting the trail to Pollett's Cove, the Skyline or any of the 30 other nearby national park trails. Have a swim, and return to a hot outdoor shower. Repeat!

This cottage is centrally located between Baddeck, Inverness and Cheticamp. It is approximately 30 min each way. It features a lovely, large back yard with firepit area and mountain views. The Portree bridge is a short walk down the road, which is a popular swimming spot. The river runs along the opposite side of the road. There are lots of local beaches, hiking trails and golf courses in the area. The property also has direct access to the highland snowmobile/atv trails.
