Kornilowiczowka – a house in the Tatra mountains

It is one of the oldest houses in Zakopane that we have refurbished recently. The past and now have been matched in a warm and welcoming style. You still can smell an old wood. The porch view extends to a garden and Kasprowy Wierch peak with Giewont peak looming in the background. The garden are ancient trees that allure to walks and further towards the edge of Tatra’s National Park. A cottage right by the Orava dam with a unique sauna is part of Slovak cultural heritage and thus protected. Two apartments, a modern bathroom, and a big living room with a fully equipped kitchen. The house is 150+years old - it is cozy, freshly reconstructed, and well-maintained & equipped. The village has almost the largest land area in Slovakia (19,350 ha) and the land area also includes the SYMBOL OF SLOVAKIA KRIVÁŇ (2,494 m above sea level), after which the accommodation is named.
