With direct, private access to the Great Valley Trail and the Ovens River, The Barn provides luxurious bespoke accommodation and complimentary mountain bikes for your stay. Located on 10 acres, The Barn is an outbuilding to the family home, along with our farm stay, The Stables. Within 10 minutes to the tourist town of Bright, and in close proximity to skiing and snow boarding at Falls Creek and Mt Hotham, a short 45 minute drive away. Horse stays are also an option, with trail riding close by!

The cottage is self contained and set up for an overnight stay or that well deserved relaxing getaway for a few nights. Rusti Garden B&B is only a 2 minute drive to spectacular Lake William Hovell or half hour drive will get you to see Paradise Falls or Powers Lookout.

Rustic shed house in Merrijig

When people look for a rustic getaway, they often mean 5 star wrapped in corrugated iron. This is not that. This is truly rustic - old timber from the cattleyards line the base of the walls. The bathroom basin is from Nanna's 150 year old house. The tin lining is from the roof of our shearing shed, complete with authentic rust marks. Not suitable for small children due to stairs. Come experience our 'Shed House' - a truly rustic accomodation experience in the High Country.

The Stables Cottage in The High Country

The Stables is an original 100 year old building that has been beautifully converted into a cozy cottage. Located in the township of Mansfield The Stables is surrounded by beautiful gardens for you to sit back and relax in. Only a short walk to the heart of town for you to indulge at the local cafes and shops. Whether you're visiting to relax or get out to explore the region this location will have you enjoying everything the high country has to offer all year round.

The house is close to the high country with beautiful views. The apartment is ideal for a small family or couple. Even though it is attached to the house it is very private. All bedding/towels etc. supplied. Guests interested in accessing Mt. Buller for the snow season, mountain biking, bush walking or just taking in the wonderful scenery will find this location ideal. Comfortable and eclectic, this self contained one bedroom studio (one of three) has been built almost entirely from recycled materials. Located at Alpine Ridge, in the heart of the high country and just 4 kilometres from the base of Mt Buller, it is perfectly located for exploring this pristine area. Suitable for people who love the mountains and everything that goes with it. Two other studios are also available.

Wild Fauna is a large open plan modern house in beautiful surrounds. The spacious living, dining and kitchen area has all the room to spend your holiday with all the family. Located in the heart of Mt Buller, this two-storey apartment is perfect for families. The light-filled, open living/dining area and large kitchen makes it great for groups and families alike, with easy access to the runs and a quick walk or shuttle to the village. We do require guests to provide their own bedsheets and towels, pillows, doonas and blankets are provided.
